Ketchikan, Alaska and Totem Bight Park

Monday, May 7th, 2018

Our sail in this morning was accompanied by smooth waters and bright sunny skies. WOW!!

As our guide, Will, implied as we settled in for out 30 minute ride to “Totem Bight State Historical Park”, you are so lucky, as a normal day here in Ketchikan is RAINY! We measure annual rainfall in FEET not inches.

No, these are not stock images, they were taken on this day.

Our sunrise ….

City view from deck 3 ….

Even our pool dolphins seem to be rejoicing ….

People travel by ferry a lot, in Alaska ….

View from Revillagigedo Island ….

Will and Friend ….

And I will close today’s offering with a picture of our beautiful dinner guests; Eva, and Jessika.

Thanks for sailing with us these past days, and weeks, and almost ‘months’, as this will probably my last post from this beautiful ship.

  1. When we cruised there a couple years ago, it was also sunny and almost too warm at the Totem park! Maybe it is a well kept secret that it is beautiful there, a bit like Washington, but I think the secret is out now! Thanks for sharing your journey! Loved it!

  2. Darn! The fun is over? Thanks for allowing me to tag along once again! Love seeing the world through your eyes & shopping w/Barbara! Love you both & welcome home! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

  3. Thank you for sharing your wonderful trip. It has been a pleasure to see your posts and learn new things. Glad you are making it home soon safe. Love you guys!
