Sailing on the Bering Sea

Voltaire was a versatile and prolific writer, producing works in almost every literary form, including plays, poems, novels, essays and historical and scientific works. Yesterday we crossed the International Date Line and ‘jumped’ back into ‘yesterday’.

All hands (passengers) were presented with the following certificates.

Last evening as we dined in the Canaletto Dining room, it was lightly snowing outside our window.

This morning as I was greeted by Andi for my morning coffee he shared with me that this was the first he (and others of this crew) had ever seen snow. His dream is to “make snow angels” in Alaska. He also shared that he had spoken with his family back home in Indonesian and they were excited for him.

I will close with an image of our current position, as we sail on the calm Bering Sea, shielded from the North Pacific by the Aleutian Chain, as we close in on our next port of Kodak.
