Shimizu, Japan, 2nd Visit

Tuesday, April 24th, 2018

Our mid-day arrival was met with overcast and threatening skies – threatening rain!!

And what looked like the dramatic arrival of our pilot!

We had no plans other than a visit to the shoreside venders and possibly a shuttle to the local shopping area.

While Barbara negotiated with the ‘Old Kimono” sales lady, I wandered the waterfront ….

One lone fisherman and ….

A beautiful tug at rest, exposing it’s huge bow.

Then returned for my afternoon nap.

Tomorrow, we have an early morning arrival in Yokohama and the end of this third segment and the beginning of our final – Yokohama to Vancouver, BC, and a complete (almost) replacement of passengers – a tough day for our `intrepid’ crew.
