Day Two – Reykjavik, Iceland

Sunday August 13th – Day Two in Reykjavik Iceland

The Plan:

We have purchased day long tickets to ride the Hop-On-Hop-Off bus. This will give us the opportunity to explore the city without a lot of walking – one destination is the the iconic Hallgrimskirkja Church and tower

Welcome to Iceland

The Reality:

Well folks, I seemed to have deleted day two from not only my “BlogPad Pro”, but in my haste to add the missing pictures I seemed to have replace it with the narrative and pictures from day one.

Not having my original notes, I am just going to share some pictures I took that day and go from there –  sorry, but “it is what it is!”

When we left the ship we boarded the Hop-on-Hop-off bus and decided to just ride it until we reached the “Church on the Hill” – the following pictures follow:

Returning to the HOHO, we managed to score a couple of seats on the upper deck at the very front of the bus – a major score!  After a couple of circuits we decide to get off at the near the Saga Museum for Barbara and I would visit the nearby Maritime Museum and have a “Bergen Beer”. My photos are below:
