This is our last day for our cross Atlantic transit so I though it only fitting that I document it with the above picture.
Each evening when we return to our stateroom the bed is made up for sleeping and on the end of our bed is a gift of chocolate a "Pillow Pal”and a wish from the Captain and crew. To night a towel animal was rearranged to look like a frog. So tonight we sleep in as meadow dreaming of the sounds of spring frogs and of our day tomorrow in the port of Funchal, Maderia, our first port of call in Portugal.
In closing I would like to share a quote from a card received on a previous evening and is so appropriate for what Barbara and I are doing now at this time of our lives:
“We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm and adventure. There is no end to the adventures we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open.” – Jawaharial Nehru.
And so an wonderful Atlantic crossing comes to a spectacularily beautiful end! Have a great time in the port calls just ahead, Jack and Barbara! I’m loving the vicarious thrill of following along in spirit!
