Well folks, as you can probably tell if you have read our itinerary, we are off to spend more of our children’s inheritance.
On this adventure we are returning to the Western Mediterranean for some time in a country we fell in love with back in the early 70’s. This time we will get to see more of the coastal cities as before we visited mainly the interior. We are hoping to see some our old neighborhood of Monte Alto in the city of Jerez de la Frontera. IT would be nice if we could visit old friends as well, but they have no doubt, moved on. I did find a picture of our Spanish Mansion, in which we were fortunate to spend three wonderful years.
That’s it in the center just below the neighbor’s swimming pool, with the tree-lined street in front.
I’ll be back with more, I just wanted to give you a teaser for now. Oh, by the way, that ship pictured in the header – that’s our next seagoing home. If you use your imagination you can just picture Barbara and me waving good-bye from our Veranda on deck seven – that’s us just below the blue-tinted windows of the navigational bridge and aft three verandas .
Hey, how come I didn’t know you were leaving again so soon. I don’t know anything about blogging, so I almost forgot the whole thing. I found the ship, but didn’t find any itinerary. It looks too difficult. Darn you Barb, you should have told me you were leaving. Then I could have gotten a little info from you. Like, where you are going? When will you be back? You know, important stuff. I see that the ship is the Noordham in Holland American Lines. The Noordham was the ship my sister and I took when we took our very first cruise. We went to Alaska. I understand that it has been really spiffed up. Well, have a good time. I’ll look forward to seeing your pictures, Barb. Also, I will be very jealous. Love ya, June
