Holland America Certificates

     One neat thing about cruising, at lest on HAL, is the way the ships staff document the important events in your adventure. On the 1st of August we crossed the Arctic Circle to eventually reach the Polar Icecap, sometime later, both Barbara and I, received frameable certificates to confirm that crossing.   I had received something similar from the US Navy when I crossed the Arctic Circle in 1955 in the vicinity of the Bering Straits.

     On the 7th of August, two more certificates were delivered to our stateroom.  These are such great souvenirs of our trip to the Top of The World.
